On the doorstep of Asia and the Pacific Rim, the popular and rapidly growing Sunshine Coast is a local, national and global destination. That means major business for big businesses, and Maroochydore is positioned at the heart of it all.
The Maroochydore City Centre is just over an hour north of Queensland’s capital, Brisbane, and only 10 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport – designated as Australia’s newest international airport in November 2016.
The airport currently caters for regular commercial flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland.
An approved and fully funded $347 million expansion of the Sunshine Coast Airport commenced in 2017, with a new runway to be completed and operational by late 2020, servicing flights directly from key destinations in Asia and the Western Pacific.
